​Created in collaboration with the SLASHER TRASH Facebook community, our aim is to not only make this the ultimate Slasher documentary, but also a limited edition collector’s item that you’ll be proud to display as part of your collection.

MICHAEL GINGOLD
Writer/Director

Michael grew up in the VHS-saturated horror boom of the 1980s, devouring countless slashers on tape and in theaters. A former editor at Fangoria, he has contributed to Rue Morgue, Delirium, and Inverse, among others. Michael’s published works include The Nightmare novelization (Severin), Ad Nauseam, and The FrightFest Guide to Monster Movies. With a knack for uncovering cult classics, he now steers SLASHER TRASH as Writer/Director.

GARETH MORGAN
Producer

Gareth 'SLASHER TRASH' Morgan is the creator of SLASHER TRASH, the world's largest social media community dedicated to the infamous sub-genre.

A lifelong devoted slasher fan, in 2017 Gareth poured his obsession into building a Facebook page where he could relentlessly riff on the good, the bad, and the trashy. SLASHER TRASH has gone on to amass 190,000 followers, who share his love for everything stalk-and-slash related.

Gareth is also super passionate about supporting independent filmmakers, having served as executive producer on a score of indie slasher films.

DANIEL RICHARDSON

Producer

Daniel is a prolific filmmaker and the producer/creator of the critically acclaimed horror documentary series TerrorBytes, shot around the globe with some of the biggest names in horror gaming. A true horror hound, he also runs a YouTube channel dedicated to genre content, recently wrapping “Slasher Season,” a month-long deep dive of daily video essays celebrating the most notorious slashers. With SLASHER TRASH, Daniel is eager to explore the subgenre’s hidden gems, delivering both fan-favorite hits and unsung obscurities to an audience that can’t get enough of the slice-and-dice.
